SkyWatch Friday 1/30/09, a fluffy cloud day

These pics were taken in the late afternoon on Thursday after I got home from work.  I wished I'd have taken my camera to work.  The clouds were even fluffier and awesome looking in the sky there.  To see skies from all over the world, visit the SkyWatch Friday site, clicking here or on the icon on the sidebar.  Thanks, Klaus, Sandy, Ivar, Wren, and Fishing Guy for hosting this fun view of the world.

  6. Thanks for stopping by my garden! Your photos look like my neck of the woods. We are in zone 5 - Ohio.

I am book marking your page so I can visit often.

  7. Nice skies. Glad you are getting some sunshine. I spoke with my son in law in Fremont yesterday -- you've had quite a winter, so far.

I like your count down to Spring!

  9. Blue sky! :-)

We went for a walk today. It was so sunny that the 40's didn't bother us too much. The sky was a gorgeous blue. The flowering apricots around town are in bloom and FRAGRANT!

  10. Thanks for all the comments! I got tired of the snow photo in my header, so found the pansies from last year. I figure those are the first kind of flower I'll be able to plant this spring, as they can take cold temps.

I enjoy visiting your blogs, too.

    Sue

  11. I always like to see a few fluffy clouds with blue sky as contrast. Looking at your pictures seems as though you're less in the clutches of winter than we are here.

  12. Hi Sue. Thanks for your kind words on my blog.

These are gorgeous. Reminds me of MT skies. I just took some photos of the sky today. I'll have to send them along.

  13. Your photos remind me there is actually blue sky above the gray clouds! Who knew? LOL.
Also, thanks for letting me know about Skywatch Friday. I love looking at all the great photos, and sharing some of mine.
    Have a great weekend! ~Aerie-el

  14. You know, Sue, I realize it's a winter Sky because of the bare trees, otherwise, looking at the cloud all alone, it could be a sunny summer Sky !

I've read your comment on Ida's blog. To make an easy collage, you can go to Picnik. It's free for the more simple use. You just have to import your pictures.

  18. It looks almost as if you might be heading towards spring already, the sky looks so fresh and light.
You do realise all your readers are keenly anticipating the actual first day of spring at the end of your countdown?

  19. Thanks for even more comments!

Catherine, I bookmarked that site, and when I get caught up better, want to try it out.

I saw a similar countdown to spring banner on another blog, and clicked on it, and was taken to the site where you can get one for free, or choose to donate to the person. I liked them so much, I decided to give a small donation through Paypal.
