From My House to Yours

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope you enjoy food and family, and are blessed with patience and forgiveness for others and yourself.

  1. Oh patience! That would be something!

Happy Thanksgiving. (That's the first time I've said that in the whole of my life!)

About the arrangement of photos on PICTURES JUST PICTURES . . .

There is only one 'post' per page - and that is the small picture at the top.

The larger photos below it are all put there through the 'add a gadget' - which you'll find at the foot of the 'layout' page for your blog.

It's the same system as for putting pictures in your side-bar, except the side-bar ones come out smaller.

This means that, just like the sidebar pictures, they stay there until you remove them, regardless of the post.

So I don't overload the blog and make it take too difficult to load, I now remove the bottom photo each day and put it at the top of PICTURES JUST PICTURES VOLUME ONE where all the pictures are placed there as 'Gadgets'.

I'm hoping that's clear. Better let me know if it isn't and I'll see if I can explain it differently!

  4. Thanks Lucy, I have some pics of my yard that I was going to put in the side bar, but I'm thinking about putting some on the bottom. I'll have to look at the pics again and decide what would work the best.

I don't have the photo taking skills you do, but I'm having fun, and looking to get a different camera. I want one that I can focus myself.

It's good so far, Darla, now I just need to go clean the mess I made in the kitchen so it won't be there when we get back from my sister's.

Tina, I'm glad I like green, too. Larry's parents put the siding up when they lived here.
