  3. Do cosmos always bloom soooo late in Nebraska ?
What a pleasant surprise for September.

  4. Hello Sue.
The orange and yellow cosmos have bloomed non stop all summer while the pink and red ones disappointed me. They grew so tall but took so long to bloom that I pulled them up. They looked like giant weeds. I'm looking forward to seeing yours open up.

  8. And about time too! Cosmos looks like some weird alien plant when it's in bud.

  9. Hi Sue~~ In my experience, Cosmos can be really unpredictable. I like how the foliage slithers up around the buds. It will enhance the opened flower, for sure.
