My goodness, I have been having difficulties posting. This evening, the photo button didn't show up in Safari, so I came to Firefox to post. Now, here, I can't get the cursor to go between the photos. I'll just list them here.
Scilla Siberica, 5 photos of hellebores from the front of the house, almost blooming bergenia, hyacinth, pasque flower, and 2 photos of hellebore, 'Silver Lace' are here.

For some reason, I was able to type between these photos, but the writing started right next to the last photo. I am editing in Safari, and things aren't showing up how they usually do, so I'm not going to try to write between the other photos, because they aren't showing up. I must be in "Edit HTML". It won't go to compose. Anyway, I wanted to point out how these hellebore blooms face up, unlike the others, where I attempt to get my camera underneath to get photos of the insides of the blooms that face down. I think they are pretty cool.

Oh, the last photo shows the grape hyacinths that I had to dig out and replant due to the street being resurfaced. The blooms just came up enough to show their blue today.
Have a great day tomorrow, and I hope you are able to be outside some of the day.
definitely !!Haringers of the triumph of Jesus !!glorious colors sandy
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter, Sue. I've been on a blogging break and need to do some catching up with you.
ReplyDeleteHellebores will be planted in my yard this year because I seem to be the only gardener in the world without them. Hope mine will look as pretty as yours.
I'm up early because we have 13 guests arriving at 11:00 and I have 72 eggs to hide outside for the hunt.

I was shocked to see my pasque flowers blooming yesterday. Isn't it way early? I'm not fit enough, this early, to be moving shrubs like I did yesterday. I need a pre spring gardening workout regimen.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter! I hope you're having a wonderful day.

ReplyDeleteHi, Sue and Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are lovely. Pasque is a big favorite of mine. :))
Happy Easter Sue. Those Hyacinth are wonderful, aren't they? I planted some more last fall but they have yet to pop up and begin blooming for me. I guess I should have saved some to force inside for Easter but I've had too much other stuff going on.
ReplyDeleteHi Sue~~ Yes, those little [big] posting annoyances... I swear they've given me several gray hairs!
ReplyDeleteI remember earlier photos of your tiny emerging hellebores and now, here they are in all their splendor! The grape hyacinth foliage looks like long, fingers reaching up from some underground netherworld. Okay, I admit I'm weird.
Your blooms are amazing - I look forard to watch your yard come to life !Thanks for sharing, Paula from Idaho
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love hellebores? I am now the proud owner of three different varieties. Just bought a dark, dusky purple today. I like your speckled one!
