Blooms, Part 2, I was Right!

In my previous post, I said that more daffodils may be opening today, and since I was right, I just had to take photos and post them.  At some point I won't be able to keep up with every new bloom, but right now, I am giddy.  Part of my giddiness is because in the last few days, I have planted about 8 pounds of potatoes, 3 kinds of onion plants, several kinds of edible pod peas, lettuce, spinach, radishes, and such.  It's supposed to rain tomorrow, so I don't know if I'll be able to plant the rest of the onions and a few other things I wasn't able to get in before it got dark out.  Maybe I'll go work in the rain awhile.

So, here are some more daffodils that opened today, and some other flowers that look like they'll be open soon.  I've been using the new method of posting, with a different way to put photos up.  I haven't figured out why the photos aren't all centered in a post, even though that is what I select.  So, I'm going to experiment and not write between the photos.  After the daffs are a new bulb I planted last fall, and don't remember what it is, a hyacinth, a pasque flower, and another view of the chindoxias.

I'm off to include my link in Tootsie's Fertilizer Friday, and Katarina's Blooming Friday, since I forgot to in my previous post.  Their links are in my sidebar.  I just got back from Katarina's blog, and found out today is the last Blooming Friday, because she wants her blog to go back to being a journal of her gardening.  Thanks for hosting the Blooming Fridays, Katarina!

  1. Your daffodils look wonderful Sue. I'm going to have to find/make a place in my garden for daffies, they're lovely. I love the smell of hyacinths too. I wonder why the photos aren't centered like you specify? Some sort of bug in the system by the looks of things.

  4. I get excited too. This week some of my more exotic ones bloomed, a few spit cups and some doubles. I couldn't leave them alone so picked a small bouquet for the desk. That way I enjoy them every time I am at the computer. They have a slight fragrance which is nice.
