I was on a quest for the sunrise this morning, and walked a few blocks to the TV station in our neighborhood, where there are more open spaces.
I walked another block, and took some more photos. I like this one with the cross. There was a bird on it, but this one was better of the sky than the closer up ones of the bird.
Back at the TV station, I ventured to the garden they used to have segments every Friday, called, "Brad's Garden". He's also one of the weather forecasters. I have been forgetting to watch for it, but apparently, they are not doing it this year, as it is full of huge weeds and herbs gone wild. I thought about going in to say I'd help clean it up, but decided I should go get my own gardening done, that I was letting myself be sidetracked from.
I hung out long enough for the sun to appear, but I should have known there would be glares on the photos. The sun is behind the structure in this one, and I kind of like it.
Have a great weekend, and check out other skies from all over the world or find out how to share yours by clicking here, or on the icon in the sidebar.
Excellent shots this week, the third one is my favourite.

You had beautiful clouds this morning. Gave you a good excuse to go for a walk and just enjoy the sky. Our skies were so dark and dismal this morning a photo would have depressed us all;)

Such an interesting cloud formations. Wonderful shots.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments. I plan to get your blogs visited tomorrow or the next day. I finally got around to getting some laundry done today, and there was water all over the floor, so we went looking for a new washer and dryer this evening. Our dryer doesn't get things dry the first time around, so we will replace that, too.
ReplyDeleteHappy SWF!
