When I got home from work, and checked the mailbox, some colors caught my eyes. Overnight, some crocuses decided to bloom! Since it's still GBBD, I am going to post a photo. Now, there really is a spring in my step!
I had already decided that the first bloom was going to be on my template for awhile, so, until something else catches my eye, these will be around.
So bright and cheerful! Lucky you!
ReplyDeleteSpring is just about here and it couldn't have come soon enough. Great shot!
ReplyDeleteWow!! Beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteYea!! And I like that you're using your home photo again. :-) LOVE your crocuses! Spring in your step For Sure!
ReplyDeleteEvery temperate climate blogger has crocus for their spring gardens, and snowdrops too. And each time i open these i still am fascinated even if they look the same, i guess they are really captivating!
ReplyDeleteLove the bright colors, Sue!
ReplyDeleteAnd love love love your very cute house. What a great header pic!
I'm passing back thru Nebraska on the way home-we've gotten GREAT shots of the Sandhill Cranes/Snow Geese/ and even some Pelicans around Alma. You truly have a great spring event here ---
:)
You must tell ben at The Deep Middle about your blooms as I thing he's not a big crocus man is he?
ReplyDeleteYour overall garden scene is bery similar to mine on my corner lot in Kansas. Even down to the type of dried leaves. : )
ReplyDeleteOh, those crocuses are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny how our autumn officially started on the first of the month but your spring doesn't officially start for another four days (at the equinox?).
Great 'Do over' for Bloom Day. I don't have crocuses. By the time crocuses bloom here daffodils are already opening. I always vow to try some Tommies....
ReplyDeleteTOO BEAUTIFUL, Sue!!! I've never grown crocuses, but am going to see if I can in time for our next Spring. We're now heading into Autumn.
