A Cloudy Day SkyWatch, 7/16/09

No, not this one, this is from July 7th.

Around 8:00 this morning, walking home from my garden across the street:

It was raining a little after 10:00 a.m. after I got home from errands,
which included buying plants that were on sale:

Around noon, I went out looking for some sky without clouds, or with clouds you could see. I took this to show that yesterday, when I went to unwrap some of the cypress vine from the rattlesnake master, I ended up taking it all off. Maybe some will head back that way.

Well, there is the sun!

To see skies from all over the world, or find out how to show yours, go to the SkyWatch blog. Thanks, hosts!

  10. I thought of you yesterday morning. I was at a birdwatching session at the local nature center prairie and saw the most amazing cloud formations. Huge rolls of clouds...and me without my camera!

  11. Hi Sue, My husband was so happy this spring to notice rattlesnake master growing in his prairie! :-) It makes a great silhouette against the sky.

  12. Sue the world does look a bit blaugh without clouds or color in the sky! I look at photos that I take without color in the sky and hesitate to use them...my instinct is to get photo shop but then that's too much work. Thank you for sharing.
