On June 24th, I walked over to the cemetery that is a block away from our house, and across the street from the television station I posted for SkyWatch recently. I wanted to catch the sunrise. I was realizing when exporting photos, that I didn't go where the old grave markers are. There are some beautiful ones, so I'll have to go back another time.

Facing west, on the way home. You can see the television sign on the right:
Facing northwest, a look at my house from farther away than usual, and a fuller view of the maple tree in front:
I can't remember if it rained that morning, but the clouds were sure majestic! To see more skies from all over the world, or to find out how to participate, click on the SkyWatch icon in my sidebar.
Great shots. I love old cemetaries. I like your header also. Your yard looks great.

ReplyDeleteYou were up pretty early to get these photos. Great photos of a wide-open view of the sky! :-) I like visiting cemeteries, too.
ReplyDeleteYou did get some pretty nice photos. I'm glad you had the list all figured out for skywatch... it was a little strange this time round, wasn't it?
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming around and visiting me, I always appreciate seeing you here.

ReplyDeleteHi, and thanks for the comments. Wyuka is Sioux or Dakota, and means, "he rests or he lies down." I am up because I had a bad dream. I plan to sit down with my Bible to get the dream out of my mind.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful skywatch shot. The skies were great for photos despite the clouds.
ReplyDeleteGreat cloud shots ... they are indeed majestic !
