  2. Love your lab and it looks like your grandson is loving him too! I made a mistake and posted on the other comment that your son is loving him but that is not right. Sorry!

  5. Hi, I love labs to, although we are one of the few houses in the village that hasn't got one, 13 black labs just in our street. We have a mastiff x ridgeback just to be different, Gary

  7. What fun it is to get on the computer in the morning and find comments on your blog!

Tina, our grandson has a black lab at home that licks him, and he doesn't like that, so he is actually closer to our Heidi. Heidi gets very jealous and wants to be right where GS is. Now, though, she isn't so sure what to think of him, since he can get into her space.

Jacque, I'm sorry for the loss of your dog. Our previous dog died at the age of 14 2 months before getting Heidi. I wasn't wanting to get another dog so soon, but the people we had gotten our other dog from had given this one to another family, and it wasn't working out.

Linda, How old is your lab? Ours is 5, and while she has calmed down, is still a puppy in many ways.

Gary, It sounds like a busy, active place where you live. I don't know dog breeds well, but my husband knew what kind of dog you have when I read what you said. LOL

Thanks, Darla, I hope to try that this evening. I have supper in my slow cooker, so I won't have to cook tonight. :o)

  9. Now, that's a full chair! Lovely dog, we are planning to get one in the future. I also enjoyed reading your earlier post about why you do gardening – the battle with the lawn made me laugh, I have the same with my partner. Men, ey? What's with them and lawns? lol

  10. Heidi is beautiful. You just can't beat those labs and goldens (but then I am a bit partial:)
