I recently met Teri, from Teri's Painted Daisies. She asked me for permission to paint this photo, from my last Camera Critters post, and posted it today. Wow, I am in awe of the skills some people have! I'm glad she left off the bottom leaf. I had started to crop it off, but didn't like how it shortened the stem. Thanks for your nice words, too, Teri!
Teri captured the monarch and the zinnia beautifully and I commented to her that she did!!

Thanks again Sue. I have such nice comments on my painting thanks to you.
ReplyDeleteWell, that's cool. I was just confessing at FaireGarden that I'm no painter or sketcher. Mom gave up on drawing lessons for me pretty quickly. Thank goodness there are other ways to express artistic energy - like plants, yah!
ReplyDeleteAn elegant butterfly on top of another elegant flower, Zinnia. Lovely! ~bangchik
ReplyDeleteSue~~ You must have an enormous cache of patience to capture such an elusive creature. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBoth you and your painter friend have wonderful talent. I am in awe!
