Yesterday, early evening, it was raining, and our baby robin was on the back of the chair. Larry took a bird feeder over to it to see if it would go inside. It glided down into the flowers under the tree, so we thought it would find shelter there. Later, I noticed it was on the shepherd's hook. A parent landed on the trellis near by as I was back taking pictures. The last photo shows the bird this morning, still out there! (The 2nd and 3rd photos were edited to make them lighter, since I haven't figured out how to set the camera for taking pics in the dark.
I'm sorry for the poor quality of these photos and collages. Next time I won't try to make a collage unless the pics are easier to see.
They are fun to watch arent they?
ReplyDeletePoor little guy, hope he found his way back home.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't see him today. We don't know if that was good or bad.
ReplyDeleteWhat tender hearts you and your husband have to be looking out for the little robin's welfare. I say it's good news that you haven't seen him/her again. That means he/she flew away to make a new life some place else.
