Hi Sue, I LOVE your blog!!! I love its overall feeling, I love its photos... Oh, you're a real pro in this. I must learn more from you! Yes, agree that the squirrel looks quite plum!
Blessings Sue..Great photos of your furry little visitor & friend! How wonderful that he posed so wonderful and stopped eating! Great way to provide for them! Love the corn cob holder! Thank you for coming to visit! You must love photography! Enjoy your Corner Garden!
Thanks for the comments. Jan, you got it! This is actually 2 different squirrels, and the pics are out of order. The first one kept leaning over, then sitting up to eat a seed. I was taking pics from inside, and then I went outside to get a clearer shot. Then, another squirrel approached from the other side of the board across the deck, and I got pics of them getting closer. When the second one got there, the first one left. I guess they take turns. I also left off the shot of the blank place, to show I took the feeder down and put it in the garage until Larry could get home and find another place for it. LOL
Catherine, The birds still eat off the feeders, but I've not seen any on the sunflower basket one yet. We just put them out a couple weeks ago.
You're very kind to your wildlife! I've never seen the sort of spiral thingy your sweetcorn is in - I suppose we don't have any to spare here, as it's not so widely grown.
Thanks Sunita and Linda, The squirrels still haven't eaten the corn. Maybe they don't like that feeder. We just got it to see if it would keep them from going after the bird seed. They really have eaten well.
I welcome comments and questions from anyone, including those who do it anonymously. Some people find my posts by doing searches, and I like hearing from them. I guess spammers won't even read this message, but I will delete spam as soon as I see it.
Oh how funny! Thanks for the smiles tonight!

ReplyDeleteIt looks like he's sleeping in the second photo:)
I'll have to think of something for WW. Every time I go on the WW site my computer freezes up! So I don't link it.
What a little monkey!
ReplyDeleteSo cute!
ReplyDeleteBut do birds go and eat after that the squirrel put his smell on the feeding tray ?
Great acrobat the "bushy tailed" one. wonderful pictures.
ReplyDeleteSue, Billy is a Jack Russel, he might have a bit of a Foxi in him. He is two years old.

I like squirrels. When I was a child I went to feed them to the park near my grandparents´ house.
ReplyDeleteYour post has brought me wonderful memories back:-)
Love your photos. The first one of the old snag on the shore looks like a prime tree for a woodpecker nest.
ReplyDeleteLOL, those squirrels will eat everything in sight. What acrobats;)
