What is your gardening style?

I posted this link in the Cottage Garden Forum, but thought I'd try it here, too.  It's something I read a couple years ago, and decided I am a collector, but also a nature lover.

  1. I used to be a collector. Now I think my style is ecologically conservative. I am growing drought tolerant plants that never require chemical spraying for pests or disease. I'm giving up on my high maintenance plants.

  2. Hi Marnie,
I am starting to choose more plants that don't need as much water, too. We have an underground sprinkler system we use on the lawn, so we probably use more water than we will be able to in the future. I stay away from plants that require chemicals, too. I am learning to live with caterpillars chewing my leaves so they can become butterflies.

For anyone else out there who reads this, I meant it for fun, and not to put anyone in a rigid category, as some on the Cottage Forum took it.

I welcome comments and questions from anyone, including those who do it anonymously. Some people find my posts by doing searches, and I like hearing from them. I guess spammers won't even read this message, but I will delete spam as soon as I see it.
