So soon--much TOO soon:-( I LOVE your Lisianthus bloom--before it got frozen to death! What a gorgeous flower that must be; I've never grown one! Oh Sue, it has to be tough to be shocked into 'winter' all at once...and fall has barely gotten started here! I'm just now accepting that it's time to stop fighting autumn and embrace it. I got pumpkins this weekend and we went apple picking. It was so lovely in the mountains. I hope once that snow melts, that you'll have some decent autumn weather before the 'real' winter hits!Janhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12844013803699228989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8333330062798605073.post-53285314513783430742009-10-12T00:54:21.480-05:002009-10-12T00:54:21.480-05:00all such beautiful captures!all such beautiful captures!magiceyehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17848851692951192508noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8333330062798605073.post-37256067012770306182009-10-11T21:22:52.669-05:002009-10-11T21:22:52.669-05:00Hi Sue, I'm still hoping for Indian Summer......Hi Sue, I'm still hoping for Indian Summer... as I'm sure you are, as well! ;-) Our family in Omaha tells us they received 6" of snow! I am pretty sad about such an early freeze. As I was pulling into the driveway after church this morning, my eyes went over to my garden across the street, and was not prepared for what I saw. It was pretty devastating. I don't think anything was alive. I'm glad I got my rosemarys and scented geraniums in. We had just brought the houseplants in a couple evenings before. I wish we had taken a few things into the garage. We didn't even put anything into the egress window yet.

Well, I hope we all have some nice fall days before the cold of winter is here to stay.Corner Gardener Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10631500918579405664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8333330062798605073.post-59287674695565740172009-10-11T13:31:39.304-05:002009-10-11T13:31:39.304-05:00You totally reeled me in.
