It seems many of us are cutting back the time we spend in the garden and blogging less. I know with me it's to make life easier, well really it's because life changes. Don't remember seeing prairie coneflowers before, think they're very pretty. Anyway nice to see you.Pathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07834331771109216377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8333330062798605073.post-17761009442819483812016-08-01T15:42:23.484-05:002016-08-01T15:42:23.484-05:00Love all those yellows and purples!Love all those yellows and purples!Leahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05201714466868118083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8333330062798605073.post-81855902402745871632016-07-31T14:01:25.085-05:002016-07-31T14:01:25.085-05:00Your garden is just beautiful this time of year, S...Your garden is just beautiful this time of year, Sue! I can only imagine what a delight it must have been to all your visitors in June; I'm sure you inspired many of them to plant more pollinator-friendly plants. Great photos of all the insect visitors to your garden, too. I've taken a lot of photos lately of bees, but they're all on coneflowers--probably because they tend to stay in one spot longer there. We've had more butterflies the past few weeks than earlier, but overall I think we have fewer this year than usual, too. I keep thinking that we've had summers like this before, so I'm hoping we'll see a lot more next year.Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01384059342847120951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8333330062798605073.post-49892992803240325242016-07-28T21:40:59.422-05:002016-07-28T21:40:59.422-05:00Thanks for share the beutifull flowersThanks for share the beutifull flowersRudyhttp://www.rudymicro.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8333330062798605073.post-83680968483137211072016-07-28T21:37:49.064-05:002016-07-28T21:37:49.064-05:00Great gardenGreat gardenPengobatan Hipertensihttp://pengobatanhipertensi.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8333330062798605073.post-22638447152286256502016-07-28T18:51:56.016-05:002016-07-28T18:51:56.016-05:00Hi Sue, Lovely wildflowers this month. Also, my bees are just now showing up. They really emerge when the asters bloom, but I didn't want to wait until September to see them! I must try the Sennas again.Gailhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16194325535496408116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8333330062798605073.post-45237710064288517072016-07-28T08:49:04.003-05:002016-07-28T08:49:04.003-05:00This is prime time for your garden. That is the way I enjoy seeing flowers. Yours are spectacular.

Very few butterflies here to. But we are inundated with Japanese Beetles and all I know to do is use pesticides or I would have nothing left. I don't know what a permanent answer is.gldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03645803822598151817noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8333330062798605073.post-56839075861237128842016-07-28T03:55:54.759-05:002016-07-28T03:55:54.759-05:00I agree with the lack of butterflies. It's sad. I'm sure it has a LOT to do with all the pesticides and herbicides in use now. Although I was gone for most of June and part of July with various trips. It seems folks in the east are seeing more butterflies this year, so perhaps some of the migrating species followed a more eastern path this year. One butterfly that seems very plentiful this year is the Eastern Tiger Swallowtail. They're so graceful like the Monarchs. Your plants are so amazing, and your garden is looking especially lush this year. Obviously the bees are very happy there. :)Beth at PlantPostingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10473637655960119672noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8333330062798605073.post-830214062066974192016-07-27T08:22:09.153-05:002016-07-27T08:22:09.153-05:00Beautiful!!
