I need to freeze the stalks so I can make the pie for special occasions. Between the coyotes and my dogs, I'm not bothered by rabbits (knock on wood.)Roses and Lilacshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07121676379580186489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8333330062798605073.post-24421451417682998552015-04-27T08:18:39.531-05:002015-04-27T08:18:39.531-05:00Yummy...we are slow to grow but hoping to see gree...Yummy...we are slow to grow but hoping to see greens peeping out soon. Rabbits are nesting in my garden this year...I didn't catch them in time. I use row covers this time of year on my raised beds to keep out all critter including the birds. Usually by now I at least have some radishes, but nope--nothing.

Those rabbits can be such pests---but they're so cute. We are a half hour away from the coast if we head NE and an hour from it if we travel SE or South. I know the ocean can affect weather.....I'm grasping at straws!Sallyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16914703548887252991noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8333330062798605073.post-47081572943867965882015-04-25T22:24:35.438-05:002015-04-25T22:24:35.438-05:00Yum, that salad looks tasty! Were you asking about the plant next to the violets? I think that might be a sedge? Maybe Carex pensylvanica? Thanks for the reminder to turn the compost--I need to do that soon, too!Beth at PlantPostingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10473637655960119672noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8333330062798605073.post-69028828148592164602015-04-25T15:05:21.578-05:002015-04-25T15:05:21.578-05:00It's lovely to pick your own salad from the ga...It's lovely to pick your own salad from the garden.. yours look delicious. It's impossible to keep them out completely....I've seen them run through the tiniest holes in fencing!
