And I too was not able to prune early. There is just not enough hours in the days that I have energy. I keep starting and not ending too many projects. yikesgreggohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10490422976382424491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8333330062798605073.post-27222532759312505692018-06-29T07:25:09.087-05:002018-06-29T07:25:09.087-05:00I do 'holiday' pruning in my garden. I usually get more blooms this way too because the plant is bushier. I love Culver's root but mine didn't thrive and after reading your post I'm thinking they were in a too dry area. I'll need to try them again. I've been meaning to ask you if you deadhead any plants to get more blooms or let them go to seed? ...An interesting plant - I like those bloom spikes!
Plants are beginning to flop over here, too, especially the Turk's Cap at the end of the house. It is falling over on the flower beds in front of it. There is too much of it to tie up. I am thinking it needs a fence to corral it!
Hope you are having a great week!
Leahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05201714466868118083noreply@blogger.com
